I got wooden knives because we are teaching classes in sustainable living and it fits right in with the recycling aspect of it all. These knives are not really cut yourself wide open sharp, so are also good to use with kids / special needs individuals as well, however CAN cut food on a plate pretty good. Ive used them to cut steaks that were cooked on a grill and they did ok there. Tough meat, of course you are going to need a real knife but if you have a good cook, they'll make their way thru a juicy T-Bone or Porterhouse with very little effort! At the end of the meal, into the composter they go, with zero landfill waste. Would buy them again.
I thought they were a great idea but people specifically told me to change the utensils because they ruined an otherwise tasty meal/dessert.

Great eco friendly fork
These forks are sturdy and pleasing to the eye! I pair them with items in my bakery, like little cakes and cinnamon rolls, and they complement beautifully. Splinter free, too!
Good product that cuts through most meats and is compostable
These wooden spoons are great for disposable use, as they are compostable and you don't have to feel bad about wasting plastic. They are not as deep and don't hold as much as a traditional spoon, but they do the job well.
These are great at cutting cooked foods! They go perfect with the treevive forks. Unlike the other types, these will cut thru cooked veggies too!
