Town RM-55N-R Natural Gas 110 Cup (55 Cup Raw) Gas Rice Cooker and Warmer - 34,600 BTU

I have been buying this cooker only because there is no other there being offer. This units dont last more than 6 months. But now is even worse, one broke with in 3 months and they sent a new one this last 3 months and now broke I am buying another one because I have no other option. Hopefully I will find a better brand so I can move!!! If you dont want to spent $ every 3 months you should look for a different option.

I keep buying this rice cooker and doesn't last more that 6 months. I always buy protection plan and this time the damage won't be covert because it damage less than 6 months. The Switch from cooking to holding mode doesn't work and is making the rice burned.

Finally a rice cooker that works! We have tried several electric cookers that all have broken quickly. This gas cooker actually cooks the rice quickly and hasn't given any issue.

The bottom of the rice always burns and turns yellow. I thought the sensor was broken at first, but it's still the same after changing the sensor.What should I do?

We're on our third Ricemaster rice cooker. We love this piece of equipment. Although it is made specifically to cook rice, we cook rice with red kidney beans in it all the time. It's time saver in the kitchen as well.

Works well and consistantly good cooked rice. Handles constant running over 10 hours a day, 7 days a week. Replaced after 3 years.

It’s one of the main items I our kitchens. I’ve used this product to cook rice and it works excellent. I live in a city over 2,000 feet and it still works great. It shuts once the rice is made (lasts around 25 minutes). You’ll have to test and try different recipes to get the proportion of water and rice set, as well as the amount of recipes to make in the equipment. I’ve bought around 4 of this item and they’ve lasted more than a year. Just take basic care of it and you’ll be fine.

Rice is essential in Asian restaurant. This rice cooker cooks very well within 20-30 mins for a full container. However, we experience once where a pilot went out and did not realize it was not cooking and had to make customers wait a bit. That was very unexpected and not very common. Have to be careful about that. Because of that I am giving it a 4 star rating. Otherwise it cooks very well and fast.

Love this rice cooker, it cooks the rice way faster than the traditional electric cooker. If your restaurant is high volume get this it will definitely keep up!

Cooks rice perfectly every single time. Litterally lasts forever. The first time I got a job at a sushi restaurant the owner had one of these that still worked 100% normal after 25 years!

This is a pretty powerful rice cooker, gas powered instead of the conventional electric. It cooks rice quickly and consistently without a second guess, two thumbs up.
