Tor Rey PZC-10/20 20 lb. Digital Pizza Controller Portion Scale with Foot Tare Pedal

Staff loved it when it was first purchased. Many compliments on flexibility and display showing ounces (example 4 pounds, 8 ounces) and decimal (4.5 pounds) was very helpful. Then it broke. Tor-Rey warranty service has been lousy. They agreed to send me a replacement part, and I have heard nothing. The unit still sits in my office. I do not hold Webstaurant responsible for the defect. Five star for the purchase, one star for the company's follow up, and buyer beware.

This Pizza Scale is of extremely very low quality. The Digital readout head is poorly attached. It should rotate back and forth BUT it also moves up and down as if it is ready to fall off due to the poor attachment system they use. The first Scale that I ordered malfunctioned within 7 days of light use. I attempted to contact Tor Rey via their website following their warranty process and they failed to contact me. It was only when I asked the Webstaurantstore to assist did Tor Rey finally acknowledge the return process. They had me return via UPS and sent me a new one. The replacement failed in exactly the same way as the first within 8 days of light use. I use many kinds of digital scales (many of them are several years old) in my bakery and I have never had one fail. In Summary I would encourage you to NOT purchase a Tor Rey scale for 2 reasons: 1. Very poor quality 2. Very poor to non-existent Customer Service from Tor Rey

our staff just loves this digital pizza ingredient controller portion scale. and it keeps all our recipes the same every time. great working scale we just love it. and this price is the lowest I could find.

Really loved this scale...especially for the price. This handles weight well and was very stable. We primarily used for dough production and portioning. It is bulky and the arm can be frustrating in small areas but we love the versatility of being able to move its location. Tares easy, comes with foot peddle...really great price point and it seems to be built well, but I don't expect its internals have much longevity for industrial kitchen equipment. Unfortunately, it stopped working in just over a year in... I purchased a replacement battery with no results. Tried a new charger...no luck...won't take a charge or register a charger plugged into it. This definitely was much nicer and responsive to use than the Tor Rey Digital Scale we bought to replace this one.
