We have used a lot of scale around docks, packing houses, and markets. This is the best one at a great price. With seafood and meat markets there is going to be a lot of moisture. The key pad is flushed unlike some scales that actually have keypad buttons that water can get in. The scale tower can be adjusted up or down.. however it can't move side to side which is the only fault of this scale.

I have four of these scales and they are great. I sell thousands of pounds of fish to the public right from my boat . I take them to sea on my vessel the pioneer out of San Francisco. They are very tough.
I really like these scales. I bought three of them to sell fish off of my boat . They are nice because they operate on there batterey or power cord . When you plug them in the screen turns brite green . On batterey you can still read the display just fine but the green glow goes away . The weights and measures liked them . They have dual display and all three passed with 80 pounds on them .i have weighted hundreds of thousands of pounds of fish with these scales . They work great I hope this helps
