Constructed with an open weave polyester scrim fabric that is double-coated in PVC, these overalls are designed to withstand tough conditions. They feature Therm-O-Rad sealed seams that are 100% waterproof and mildew-resistant, and the sealed seams also protect against chemical splashes from many acids, oils, alcohols, and salts. The lighter interior coating protects the fabric from chemical contamination, while the exterior coating is abrasion-resistant and provides protection against viruses. Additionally, these overalls are flame-resistant and self-extinguishing.

The yellow color of these overalls is easily identifiable, and they feature a snap fly front with a heat-applied FR logo on the left breast. They have elastic suspenders and take-up snaps on the waist and the ankle cuffs for an adjustable fit, and all hardware is non-conductive and non-corrosive.
