In general, melamine is not microwave or oven safe. You can use a commercial dishwasher to clean your melamine items; however, top-rack only is recommended for residential dishwashing units.     Adorable and special shape, truly adorable. The melamine is a little lightweight so they don't seem expensive, but they look very nice and the price is right. These are a great size for small side dishes.
