Reduce odor in your coupling or venting pipe opening with this Thermaco Big Dipper CF-VENT-1 carbon vent filter. To fight bad odors, fit the filter's narrow end into any 2" no-hub coupling or venting pipe opening. During grease interceptor installation, this vent filter is often skipped over, which can lead to odors escaping your grease interceptors and invading nearby rooms like kitchens. Ensure this step is not skipped over and have your kitchen smelling fresh with this vent filter.

Each filter contains 9 oz. of activated carbon pellets, which is the same material proven in other odor-prevention applications, including filtering residential HVAC systems. When injected with hot air or steam, the carbon is "activated," creating pores that trap odor molecules, and with more surface area to trap these molecules than regular carbon, the activated carbon in this vent filter works more efficiently. The container is also durable and reusable.

It is recommended by grease trap manufacturers to install a vessel vent to be vented to atmosphere. To prevent bad odors, rely on this carbon vent filter to trap odors while allowing the outflow of fresh air. This vent filter should be replaced every 3 months for best results.
