I really wanted to love these shakers. I figured it would be the perfect solution to the humidity causing the spices to clump up. They look really great, however within 2 weeks of setting them out on the tables I've had 3 of the lids break off at the hinges. Unfortunately I'm most likely going to have to replace them with traditional open top shakers.

Salt shakers aren’t a major issue, until you have to bang it on the table to get salt out. I haven’t had to break up the salt in this shaker. It has not clumped since I’ve been using it. Keeps the moisture, humidity OUT. They do feel very strong, and spring on the lid seems durable. I’m happy with it.
