I don't use this extract for its conventional purpose of baking; i use it as a medium to apply different edible paints to cakes and cake decor. It evaporates fast and doesnt leave any color or real smell behind. It's serving its purpose so far.

The Shanks' Lemon Extract is lovely! I've had other brands of lemon extract that have come across as really fake but the Shank's brand is absolutely delicious and perfect for both simple syrups and also baked goods.
