What types of condiments can I use with this pump?
According to the manufacturer, this pump will handle standard condiments like ketchup and mustard, but it is not recommended for dispensing condiments that contain solid / thick chunks, like salsa. Condiments that contain seeds and chunks of peppercorn are also not recommended, as the seeds can cause the pump to jam. When dispensing thicker condiments, such as mayonnaise, daily pump cleaning is highly recommended to avoid clogging.

The San Jamar P9724 self service condiment holder features four 1 qt. trays for serving toppings like onions and pickles, and two 2.5 qt. pumps for condiments. For convenience, the lids on the condiment holders can rest open under ideal conditions; however, they aren't designed to lock in place.
Each Ultra pump dispenses 1 oz. servings with each push. The condiment center's jars come with individual spoons and transparent notched lids to protect your toppings from spills and contaminants.
