What types of condiments can I use with this pump?
According to the manufacturer, this pump will handle standard condiments like ketchup and mustard, but it is not recommended for dispensing condiments that contain solid / thick chunks, like salsa. Condiments that contain seeds and chunks of peppercorn are also not recommended, as the seeds can cause the pump to jam. When dispensing thicker condiments, such as mayonnaise, daily pump cleaning is highly recommended to avoid clogging.

Dispense condiments from all kinds of containers with the San Jamar P4900BK FrontLine universal countertop condiment pump dispenser system! This extremely versatile pump system can dispense condiments using a gallon jar, #10 can or jar, direct pour, and even a Cryovac bag, making set-up, tear-down, and refills easier than ever. Conveniently, the kit includes a bag adaptor and plug to work with your standard 1.5 gallon Cryovac bags.

The pump is made of high impact plastic and sits on top of a tamper resistant lid so only your employees can access the inside, and the stainless steel box protects condiments from contamination. All together, this system is easy to clean and maintain while providing the strength and durability needed for concession stand or restaurant use.

    We bought 2 of these dispensers and they both broke within the first month of moderate use. The first one just stopped working and stopped pumping ketchup and the other one, the plastic spout just broke. Not durable at all. Would not recommend anyone to purchase this item.
