This product works great for us down here in the south where it is hot and humid! The flying insects become a major problem every summer, and keeping everything doesn't fully cut it when our restaurant operates nearly all day. We did notice that the product does not cover the full square footage as described, but we expected that since our overhead fluorescent lights are very bright- so we use two. It may take a week or two to get the insects fully under control, but with regular maintenance we no longer ever have to worry about flying insects.

Paraclipse 251350 Details
The 40W Paraclipse 251350 Fly Terminator is a commercial/industrial multi- functional, portable fly trapping system. The Terminator is a dual exposure trap, opened on both sides, which gives you double the 'attraction zone' by drawing flies to the unit. Two UV Lamps and two UV Lamp Booster Reflectors of the Paraclipse 251350 Terminator trap increase the attraction to the unit by more than 50%. The unit's coverage area averages 10,000 square feet depending on the line of sight to the unit, the layout of the room, how often the door is open, how much traffic the area receives, and the number of insects in the area.
The flies are initially drawn to the 40W UV bulbs. Each bulb contains a chemical coating that maximizes the amount of UV light it transmits. To maintain the bulb's coating and the trap's optimum effectiveness, replace bulbs every 9-12 months, ideally at the beginning of Spring. The flies are then lured to the glue on the slow moving 60 day auto- advancing cartridge by the food scents, decoys on the trapping surface, and pheromones that give the units powerful trapping capabilities. The Paraclipse 251350 Terminator trap eliminates large quantities of flies, over 4,000 per cartridge. It is environmentally safe - no scattering of zapped fly parts or sprayed chemicals.
The versatile Paraclipse 251350 Terminator unit can be suspended from the ceiling or positioned on a shelf/countertop. For best results, do not place the zapper in an area with bright lighting, as other light sources will draw the bugs' attention. In public areas, placing the lights just above eye level will ensure that customers do not see dead insects stuck to the glue board. This unit has an exclusive auto advancing 60-day cartridge system with an audible alert when the cartridge needs replacing. The Paraclipse Terminator is durable, strong and light-weight with an easy-to- clean surface. It meets USDA guidelines.
