Cook delicious burgers, hot dogs, fish, and other grilled entrees with the Vollrath CBGMD-12 12" medium-duty charbroiler! This charbroiler comes with (1) 40,000 BTU burner, and it has a compact 12" width to fit tight spaces. The narrow grill plates are designed with channels to siphon away fat from the grilling surface, while the angled adapter bars allow slow cooking for greater versatility.
This charbroiler features all-metal control knobs for easy operation and gas valve protection, and the cool-touch bull nose design helps prevent accidental burns during use. The whole unit is made of stainless and aluminized steel, fully welded to help eliminate grease and dirt traps. Thanks to its adjustable legs, you can situate this charbroiler at the perfect height for your kitchen. This unit is shipped complete for radiant or lava rock (sold separately) use and can be field converted for a natural gas or liquid propane connection.

So after about a year this unit began making a terrible noise and the grill knob started free spinning. I have to say that vollrath products (that are not hand tools or pots and pans) have really been a huge disappointment. I would stay away from any vollrath product that is not a hand tool or a cooking pan.

Got this unit just a bit over a year and 2 crates were broken. This unit works fine. But the metal crates lasted failed is unacceptable. My previous Star lasted almost 10 years. Will not buy another Vollrath in the future.
This is a very FAST grill. The 4 burners on the Vollrath makes it easy to separate each section to control your meat cooking speed or leave one section has a warmer. You hardly ever come across a 24inch charbroiler that has 4 burners, most are 2 burners only. Stainless steel on this makes it very easy to clean.
Wow, in the short time we have had this guy, it has performed very well. great value item and you can change up to lava rocks if you want for flexibility and they come shipped to you.
I have been using this Vollrath Char broiler for about 6 months and it has performed flawlessly. Comes with lava or radiant. Even cooking and reliable.
