Do you serve alot of burgers or just alot of sliced tomatoes? At our upscale senior living community we do both and this product has been a labor saver. It is durable, easy to clean and held up to a punishing staff.
The Nemco 2 1/4' Easy Tomato Slicer is Great. It slices the jusie tomatoes in a uniform slice which means just alike every time.It cuts the prep time in half.We love it and the times saved .Be careful for the blades are very sharp when cleaning.
We are a burger joint so we go through a lot of tomatoes. This slicer is perfect for us. We get uniform, juicy slices because the slicer is so gentle on the tender tomatoes. I recommend cleaning this slicer immediately after using it so that the tomato seeds don't get stuck to the blades. These blades are lethal-sharp so the less handling the better.
The ease of use of this slicer has cut our prep time in half. The staff loves the slicer. Easy to use, easy to clean.
