Commercial Ovens

Commercial Ovens

Commercial Restaurant ovens cover a wide range of cooking equipment with an equally wide range of uses. In this video, we will discuss several varieties of commercial ovens that you can find at the WEBstaurant Store, and also talk about some of the features of various ovens. Convection ovens are some of the most heavily used ovens in a commercial kitchen. Convection ovens vary from a standard oven through the use of a fan. The fan creates air circulation, which not only cooks or bakes the food faster, but also limits temperature variations in the oven. Cooking at 25% less time than a standard oven, convection ovens will give you the production that you need. We have convection ovens in full size, like this Baker’s Pride, or countertop units. Some convection ovens are even energy star rated. Convection ovens are some of the most heavily used ovens in a commercial kitchen. Some convection ovens are even energy star rated. Microwave ovens are found in virtually every commercial kitchen. Their ability to quickly warm makes them invaluable in a busy restaurant environment. It also makes them perfect for convenience stores and break rooms. At the WEBstaurantStore, we have a huge selection of microwaves, including large units that are powerful enough to replace a countertop steamer! Commercial pizza ovens can mean anything from tiny snack ovens for warming and crisping frozen pizza, to huge deck ovens that are the engines behind any busy pizza shop. Not only are deck ovens great for pizza, but they are great for baking breads, pretzels, and toasting hoagies. Just like a conveyor line allows high production in a factory setting, a conveyor oven allows for high production of food in the busiest of pizza shops and sandwich shops. Whether they use ceramic or quartz elements, or jets of hot air, which is referred to as impingement, conveyor ovens are a great way to keep your food production moving fast.Rapid cook ovens combine the speed and efficiency of a microwave, and the toasting and browning that you get from a convection oven. These high speed ovens use a combination of microwaves and either impingement or convection. Often seen in the busiest and most popular sandwich shops, the speed and quality that one gets from these rapid cook ovens from Turbochef, Merrychef, and Amana are also perfect for snack shops, grab and go areas, and cafes. They typically do not need to be put under a hood, which makes these ovens a perfect for adding add hot food to previously cold food menus. In addition to the main categories of ovens I’ve mentioned, we also have cook and hold ovens for those of you for whom slow and low cooking is the name of the game, standard restaurant ovens, and many sizes of rotisserie ovens for merchandising and cooking of chickens and other foods. To make your Commercial oven shopping easy, the product pages for all of our ovens include spec sheets and manuals. If you have more questions, please feel free to use the WEBstaurantStore’s Live Chat to quickly speak with one of our customer service representatives.

This was such a great buy!! It works good, doesn't get too hot on the outside and has good heat distribution. The price was very reasonable too. Would buy another.one

This was the cheapest, largest counter top convection oven I could find. I didn't have a big budget and needed to make this work. The first thing I noticed while I was baking veggies was the seal between the door and the oven would leak steam and water would start to drip down the front door. I tried fixing the seal but it just doesn't seem to fit properly. The second thing I noticed was the veggies in the back would brown first so I started to rotate the baking sheets 180 degrees halfway through the cooking process and that works wonders. Overall i'm satisfied for the time being, I do plan on replacing this in the future with a larger higher quality oven.

A perfect sized oven for my boutique bakery, I love the way it fix all of my goods perfectly and evenly, as well as time efficient. A countertop oven is perfect for space saving as well.
Decent oven until it breaks down. The oven comes with 2 heating elements, but webstaurant/avantco will only replace one of them. So essentially if the wrong element stops working (like mine did about week past the warranty date), you're screwed. Go with another brand.
We appreciate your review, Jeffrey. We wish this Avantco CO-28 Half Size Countertop Convection Oven, 2.3 Cu. Ft. - 208/240V, 2800W would have worked out for you. Our Customer Solutions team will remain in contact with you about this.
Heating not consistent, we are having trouble getting our baked goods to cook evenly with this oven. Have adjusted temp, spacing, turning and cannot seem to make it work for us. Small coffee shop that offers baked goodies so oven is crucial, sadly would not recommend if baking evenly is a priority.
Thank you for your review, Leah! We are sorry this Avantco CO-28 Half Size Countertop Convection Oven, 2.3 Cu. Ft. - 208/240V, 2800W has not worked well for you. A Customer Solutions Representative will contact you soon!
We purchased this convection oven in Feb 2020 based on the previous reviews which ranged from 3 to 5 stars. But then due to Covid, our coffee shop was closed for a short while so we only started using it regularly Jun 2020 for just a couple of hours in the mornings. Then this July 2021, for some reason it tripped our breaker and now although the oven turns on, the fan is not working! I'm sad to see other reviews saying the same thing that this oven is only lasting for a year. Have already contacted customer service and will replace whatever parts as needed; I hope it will work again. I could deal with it having hot spots and depending what you are trying to bake, you may have to rotate the pan; even though it was not worth trying to use 2 racks at the same time, as one reviewer had mentioned, that whatever you put in the second rack will be undercooked or overcooked. Just not happy to be repairing this oven after 1 year of light usage.
We appreciate your review, Sheila. We wish this Avantco CO-28 Half Size Countertop Convection Oven, 2.3 Cu. Ft. - 208/240V, 2800W would have worked out for you. Our Customer Solutions team will remain in contact with you about this.
Oven was decent while it lasted. It got the job done, but has hot and cold spots so pan rotation is essential to get an even baking. My second one died just over a year of purchase, though we were shut down most of 2020 due to COVID, so I would say the general lifespan of this oven is quite short. Currently in the market for a replacement...definitely looking for something more durable as replacing an oven every year or so is neither economical nor environmentally friendly.
Thank you for your review, Tony! We are sorry this Avantco CO-28 Half Size Countertop Convection Oven, 2.3 Cu. Ft. - 208/240V, 2800W has not worked well for you. A Customer Solutions Representative will contact you soon!
We bought this oven in October 2019. The heating element blew in April of 2020. We received a warranty replacement for it and it just blew again in June 2021. W only use it a couple days a week too. Seems like a nice oven if they can solve this heating element issue.
Thank you for your feedback! We are sorry your Avantco CO-28 Half Size Countertop Convection Oven, 2.3 Cu. Ft. - 208/240V, 2800W was defective. Action has been taken to remedy this. Please reach out to our Customer Solutions team if you have any questions!
Amazingly consistent! We use this oven all the time in our kitchen. The back top corners get a little hotter than the rest of the unit, so depending on what you put in there you might have to rotate your trays at some point. Once we figured out a system it's been a gem to use.
This was a great little oven, but sadly lasted only a year! Too expensive to replace, should have read other reviews before purchasing. Element burned out after about 50 uses.
Thank you for your feedback! We’re sorry you did not prefer this product. For recommendations, please contact our Customer Solutions team.
This oven, like many of the reviews, only lasted a year. It sparked, tripped my breaker and shut off. When we did get it to come back on, it would no longer heat. Even with COVID, the lack of business, and some business closures, when I contacted webstaurant store to resolve my issue, it was 10 days over a year so my warranty wasn’t any good. I was given the option to purchase repair parts or a new one. I have purchased many many things for my restaurant, however this was the most disappointing purchase and it has definitely left a bad taste in my mouth.
We appreciate your review, Salvatore. We wish this Avantco CO-28 Half Size Countertop Convection Oven, 2.3 Cu. Ft. - 208/240V, 2800W would have worked out for you. Our Customer Solutions team will remain in contact with you about this.
Unfortunately you get what you pay for. This is my second Avantco CO-28 oven in a year. Bought the first one on January 11th, 2020 and the second on August 15th 2020. Both with the same problem, fan works well but the heating element burned.
We appreciate your review, Jose. We wish this Avantco CO-28 Half Size Countertop Convection Oven, 2.3 Cu. Ft. - 208/240V, 2800W would have worked out for you. Our Customer Solutions team will remain in contact with you about this.
Not worth the price tag, will die like clockwork once it's outside of the year warranty period. I didn't heed others' advice and I paid the price for it. Since we were closed for COVID, we only used the oven for 5 months before the heating element died, but since the purchase date was over a year ago, customer service refused to do anything about it.
Thank you for your feedback! We’re sorry you did not prefer this product. For recommendations, please contact our Customer Solutions team.
You definitely get what you pay for. Mine is cooking unevenly, it has major hot spots, and even though it's convection you need to rotate pans to get uniform cooking. It runs low on temperature and the temperature dial is worthless, you will need an oven thermometer. And finally, you can only use one rack at a time. If you use more than one, whatever you put on the other racks will be either undercooked or overcooked.
Thank you for your feedback! We’re sorry you did not prefer this product. For recommendations, please contact our Customer Solutions team.
I highly recommend this oven. Pros; It heats up in minutes, and it is inexpensive. Cons; the temp dial is worthless you have to by an oven thermometer, and the timer is only good for 60min.
This is a beast! This unit is a work horse. The Avantco CO-28 Half Size Countertop Convection Oven, 2.3 Cu. Ft. - 208/240V, 2800W and also the 110v are great.
Not built to last. Within the first 6 months the door failed and was replaced under warranty. We bought this oven in Oct 2018 and it officially died March 9th 2020, just over a year so it's out of warranty. It worked ok while we had it, it had hot and cold spots so the pans had to be rotated for even cooking. When it finally died it melted the breaker and flipped a bunch of other breakers, which happened during service of course. If you decide to go with this oven just know you will be replacing it.
Thank you for your feedback! We’re sorry you did not prefer this product. For recommendations, please contact our Customer Solutions team.
Avantco CO-28 Half Size Countertop Convection Oven, 2.3 Cu. Ft. is very good quality product. Brand is very good. Power is very good. Thanks !
First of all the power cord was backward compared the spec sheet. Major hot spots and runs low on temperature. Within two months we decided to get something better, now just need to figure out how to get rid of this one or sell it. As a business owner it’s annoying to spend time on things like this.

This is my second avantco half size countertop oven and I have really enjoyed them. They heat up very fast and very hot so make sure to monitor whatever you are cooking or add a gauge on the rack.
The oven is definitely bigger than I thought. It definitely works really well for cookies. however for bigger items I need to take a shelf out so that there's enough space in between the racks.
This fits perfectly in my small space and heats up quickly and is well insulated. Even though it is convection, rotation of the pans is still necessary to keep products from burning on one side.
We took a full size stove/oven out of a kitchen where we really only needed the oven function, and we now use this countertop unit. It works great for keeping pans warm and also does a great job of cooking multiple pans at once. It's well sealed and sturdy. The top does get warm, so we wouldn't recommend planning to have the top for stacking anything.
This was great, but make sure you have the correct outlet or plan on having some electrical work done. I love the height between racks.
We are a small coffee shop and this oven is the perfect size for our space! It had great reviews and was extremely affordable. We are extremely happy with it so far!
You get what you pay, Lightweight oven perfect for catering. Mine is cooking unevenly, must rotate pans every 10 min to get uniform cooking. But for less money its ok.
Thank you for your feedback! We’re sorry you did not prefer this product. For recommendations, please contact our Customer Solutions team.
We've been using this in our cafe for light baking every day for about a month now, and it's great. I wouldn't start a bakery with it, but for light baking at the beginning of the day it works just fine.
Too big. Took up way more space than we needed for our counter convection oven. The smaller one works More prefect for our cookie operation.
This oven is very good for what you need, perfect for use in any type of preparation, good capacity.I would definitely recommend it. good oven
We use this oven on a daily basis & absolutely love it! It heats up super quick and we haven’t had any trouble yet with the oven.
We use this great little oven to hot-hold some of our restaurants menu items. It holds a consistent temperature, heats up quickly and has held up well so far.
one of the best ovens ive used...bakes evenly and efficiently...the fan blows hot air so all my cakes and pastries bake up more fluffy and light!
Excellent convection oven for a great price! The oven itself is actually relatively light, so you can move it around, if need be. It's quite and works really nicely, and doesn't take up a ton of space. Perfect for small loads of things that need to get baked. The only slight downside is that the dial is not terribly accurate/easy to read, so you have to eyeball the temperature on the dial, to the best of your ability.

So this item is not my favorite. we ordered it to fit a small space, when picking ovens i prefer a full size, and natural gas, but this unit works in a pinch.
The Avantco CO-28 Half Size Countertop Convection Oven, 2.3 Cu. Ft, came fully assembled and was as easy as plugging it into the wall. The products meets our expectations for a small operation like us
