Norlake 6X6X7-7 Freezer Details

Offer superior storage space for your refrigerated meats, cheeses, produce, and pre-made plates with this Norlake Fast-Trak 6' x 6' x 7' 7" indoor walk-in freezer! Featuring a temperature of -10 degrees Fahrenheit, this versatile freezer can accommodate a wide variety of products. The combination digital thermometer and light switch make it easy to monitor the freezer, so you can quickly make adjustments. Storing food at the proper temperature can help prevent your ingredients from spoiling too quickly, saving you money on products that might have gone to waste.

This unit's heavy-duty durability comes from its modular panels, which are made of 26 gauge corrosion-resistant embossed coated steel. The panels are insulated with 4" thick foamed-in-place, EPA-compliant polyurethane to maintain consistent temperatures. Each panel locks together, creating an airtight seal that is energy efficient. Adding to the value of this unit is its floor panel design. Made of smooth aluminum, the floor seals the walk-in and provides a durable surface for storage. Plus, it can hold up to 800 lb. per square foot!

A self-closing, spring-loaded door with two cam-lift hinges is what truly brings this unit all together. The built-in magnetic gasket and floor double sweep gasket ensure that no cold air escapes when the door is closed. To protect the contents within the freezer, a deadbolt locking handle with an independent padlock feature secures the door, while an inside safety release prevents anyone from becoming accidentally stuck inside the walk-in. For your convenience, a high output, low profile LED light is positioned directly above the door, providing excellent product visibility while remaining discreet and out of the way.

Customer questions about this product

Does adding optional accessories impact the lead time on this product?

Yes. If optional accessories are added to this product, this product may require additional lead time.

How can I determine the size of this product's interior?

The interior of a Norlake cooler can be determined by subtracting 8" from each exterior measurement. Each side panel is 4" thick, and each exterior measurement contains two panels. For Norlake freezers, the panels will be 4"-5" thick, so subtracting 8"-10" from each exterior measurement will give you a good idea of interior size.

How do I know which remote refrigeration package to select?

Before making your selection, note whether you have access to 1 phase or 3 phase power for the refrigeration unit. Depending on the size of your walk-in, the ambient temperature, door opening frequency, and usage, you may require the the heavy load compressor option.

Normal load compressors are designed for holding pre-chilled product for storage, while a heavy load compressor should be selected if you are using the walk-in for chilling warm product, expecting frequent door openings, and/or the ambient environment is high at peak summer temperatures. A normal load consists of the door being opened 3 to 4 times per hour, while a heavy load is the door being opened 6 to 12 times per hour. If a heavy load compressor is required, please select the option with the larger horsepower above

Please fill out the “Load calculation Information Form” with your order and we can confirm that your selections match your requirements.

My city or state has special requirements for walk-in refrigeration. What do I need to know before purchasing this item?

Oregon residents: The state of Oregon charges a tagging fee for inbound shipments of this item. You will be contacted regarding this fee after placing your order.

If you have any questions, please contact Special Orders prior to making your purchase.

What is included with my refrigeration selection?

Remote refrigeration selections consist of a preassembled condensing unit, pre-wired / mounted accessories, and an evaporator.

Where will the door be located on my walk-in unit?

The "Walk-In Floor Plans" document on this page has a diagram with all of the possible floor plan options for Norlake walk-in units. This shows the standard and alternate door configurations for each size option.

If you are interested in one of the alternate door configurations, first choose whether you want a left or right door hinge and then check the dropdowns at the top of the page - additional door configurations will be shown there, if any are available, and you can then select the right door configuration code for your application, using the codes in the diagram as a guide. If you don't see an "Optional - Alternate Floor Plans" dropdown, no alternate configurations are available for this particular unit.

Be aware that on units with wall-mounted refrigeration, selecting an alternate door configuration will move the refrigeration unit to the wall opposite the door, for proper airflow.

If you do not choose another floor plan, you will be shipped the standard configuration.

Can this item fit through a standard height 80" doorway ?

Due to the height of this item, it may not be able to fit through a standard 80" tall doorway when standing upright. Please consider the best means of entry before purchasing, or measure your entryway to ensure that you will be able to bring your order inside if the item cannot be carried on its side.

When I order this product, can I request liftgate delivery?

This item is too large and heavy for a liftgate. It can be delivered with a truck-level loading dock or forklift. Contact our Customer Solutions team prior to placing your order if you would like to discuss other delivery options.
