Can I use oils or sprays on my non-stick waffle iron?
To prevent food from sticking to your non-stick surface, we recommend lightly coating it with oil, wiping off any excess with a soft cloth or napkin or using Vegalene Waffle-Off Grid Iron Release Spray. While other sprays can actually cause food to stick more readily, Vegalene Waffle-Off Grid Iron Release Spray is made to work with regular or non-stick waffle irons alike!
RESIDENTIAL USERS: Vendor assumes no liability for parts or labor coverage for component failure or other damages resulting from installation in non-commercial or residential applications. Your warranty will be voided if installed in non-commercial or residential applications.
This product is not recommended. It was only "non-stick" for a week before the coating began to chip off. After taking off the plates to clean them (per manufactures instructions) they do not lock back into place tightly creating a gap for batter to spill into. Also, it takes over 4 minutes to make a waffle (not ideal for a busy restaurant) but it does not produce consistent results.
