We own a small poultry farm and process around 100 chickens every week. We needed some new shears for cutting off necks, feet and heads mostly, as well as for parting out birds and decided to "upgrade" from cheap kitchen shears to something that seemed much better, but as cool as these look they are kind of trash. they are very slippery to hold on to and if you have small hands, like most of our crew do, they are basically impossible to handle. they cut through joints and bone just fine but easily get hung up on skin. the spring also has a tendency to fly off. save some money and just get some cheap plastic handled kitchen shears.
