For your convenience, this planter does not come with pre-drilled drainage holes, so it can be used indoors. For outdoor use, drill 1/2" drainage holes in the planter. This will help prevent oversaturation of the plants and bulging of the planter walls. For more stability in high-traffic areas, drill a 1 3/8" hole in the basin, and fill the lower cavity with sand or gravel. Seal the hole with the red plug (included). Clean this planter with a garden hose or a power washer.
