This durable, stainless steel strainer features the heavy-duty, reinforced Exoglass composite material designed for intensive use and is heat resistant up to 482 degrees Fahrenheit. It features a one-piece, ergonomic handle to provide both comfort and stability while allowing the user to keep their hands at a safe distance from heat. In addition, the handle is insulated for added protection from heat and built in hooks, opposite the handle, allow for hands-free operation.
This Exoglass strainer boasts hygienic fine stainless steel mesh to properly strain various foods. When not straining foods, you can also use it to sift flour and other dry ingredients to aerate them prior to use.

Matfer Bourgeat is simply the best. i've had this durable strainer for a while now and I use it daily. This strainer is used for straining stocks, sifting flour and pretty much anything else i need it for. Perfect fine mesh screen and beyond durable. Worth the money.
As a user of many Matfer products, I can tell you their quality is second to none. I use this fine strainer at home, mainly for yogurt. I do not need my yogurt to be so void of liquid that something like a chinois or cheesecloth is needed, and thus I use this strainer. It leaves the yogurt nearly "Greek" but still with enough whey to be enjoyable (to me). The mesh is one solid piece, so you do not have to worry about little strands poking out / poking you as is typical with these types of items. Expect to pay a lot for this item, and expect it to pay you back ten-fold due to its durability / quality. Highly recommend.
