Great spreader. It does get gunked up pretty quickly, but that's more or less a fault of the user not cleaning it with each use moreso than the product.

This particular spreader is too light for my use. I opted to go with something round too.
Not what we expected!! The round stick and the spread stick detached very easily. The crepe mix also sticks to the spread handle very easily making it harder to spread. (Note: we always had it resting in water while prepping to avoid it sticking as much as possible.) Good product for its price, but not if you need a spreader for constant use.

we tried these and the metal ones and these are not that great. It does not work as great with spreading the batter and it sticks. You constantly have to keep it wet. Not for us.

This 7" Beechwood crepe dough spreader is very light and nice to work your crepes with. However, the front piece comes off, a drop of crazy glue does the trick though. Other than that, it's really handy.
I've used this spreader in the past and loved it. Easy to use...gets crepes really thin. Ordering another to have spare for double pan cooking. Great product!
We prefer the Waring metal crepe spreader over the Krampouz wooden trowel. The wooden trowel requires more patience and it has been more difficult for our employees to get the hang of using it.
This is much easier to use than the metal T bar that came with my crepe maker. This spreads the batter easier, but the handle and the paddle comes apart easily. I ended up gluing the two pieces together so that it doesn't separate as often.
i have wooden spreader, at first my employees had a hard time to master it so they recommended me to buy a try stainless steel to see which one is better.
Although this is light weight and easier on the wrist to use, it fell apart very quickly and we had to return to the single piece spreader
This is my favorite kind of batter spreader. I would reccomend this to those who are more experiences as it will make a thinner crepe.
The Matfer 7" crepe dough spreader is of good quality, a good size, and has a great price. After briefly using this, I prefer the rounded spreaders, but maybe it's because I'm not used to this style.
Making crepes can not be any easier with this tool. Very large face and a long handle to easily create your crepe with ease. Must have v
This is really great for making crepes. The only very slight issue we had was that the handle was slightly loose when we received it.
An essential tool when making crepes whether on crepe maker or in a pan. Helps in spreading the batter. And it's wide so it's easily done.
I purchased the Matfer beechwood crepe dough spreader. This simple tool is very useful to get your crepe batter smooth. It is lightweight and easy to handle.
The construction isn't really reliable. It comes in two pieces, and when you connect them together, they keep falling apart, so we ended up not using it at all. The only way I see this working if we'd glue the pieces together, but glue that close to food isn't very good.
Thank you for the review! This item should have arrived in tact. A Customer Solutions Representative will reach out to you regarding the damages.
Far easier and more effective than simply trying to tilt the pan properly, the 7" Beechwood Crepe Dough Spreader has helped to make our crepes perfect - it's a great improvement.
thsese one of the great tool when u making crepe and this beechwood crepe dough spreader are good not to heavy like metal one so buy this one for easy work
I never knew how much easier it is to make a crepe until i spent the tiny amount of money it takes to buy this spreader. I have used a spatula for years. No contest this makes it so much easier.
Beechwood for crepe spreader for this price I have no negative to say but love it I've checked around for a better price, and even figuring in shipping, this is still the best buy.
