Made with a convenient 3-in-1 design for heavy-duty applications like commercial blowing, vacuuming, and mulching tasks, this blower's powerful, cool-running brushless motor delivers the power of a gas-powered blower with fewer emissions, a quieter operating volume, and reduced maintenance. It's designed to optimize battery usage for longer run times with a maximum air velocity of up to 120 MPH, a maximum air volume of 473 CFM, and an air flow rate of 448 CFM. This commercial blower features XPT (Extreme Protection Technology), which protects the unit from excess dirt, debris, water, or mud during intense jobs, and a sound pressure rating of 61 dBA measured per ANSI B 175.2 standards.

This blower kit includes a 3-piece vacuum attachment kit with a storage bag and a convenient strap for carrying the components when not in use. It also includes 2 blower nozzles, including one standard nozzle and 1 telescoping nozzle. The items in the attachment kit easily convert the blower to a vacuum or a mulcher for convenient, complete jobsite clean-up. When used for mulching tasks, this unit's shredding blade produces a 10:1 mulch ratio, reducing up to 10 bags of leaves to 1 bag. When used as a vacuum, this unit's precision suction power is ideal for completing fallen leaf cleanup without altering stone and rock settings in plant beds. It includes 1 collection bag with a capacity of up to 1.4 bushels of leaves.

Made with an ergonomic design for operator comfort and control, this light weight blower features a long intake pipe that is used in combination with the 3-stage telescoping blower nozzle designed with an adjustment range of 5" that extends the pipe closer to the ground. The top of this unit features a rubberized, soft grip handle with a cruise control lever for 0-100 percent speed adjustment and a speed lock for continuous operation. The handle also includes a variable-speed trigger that can be used in tandem with cruise control when the speed lock is engaged for power and run time management. The blower features a bottom handle designed for positioning the unit sideways to clean spaces of all shapes and sizes, and a static water lift of 13". With 2 batteries in place, the blower weighs 11.2 lb. when blowing and 14.4 lb. when vacuuming or mulching to reduce operator fatigue.

This blower kit includes (2) 18V LXT lithium-ion 5.0 Ah batteries and 1 dual-port charger. The batteries feature Star Protection's computer controls to protect against overloading, overheating, and over-discharging as they optimize performance for longer sustained power. They also feature impact-resistant outer cases and shock-absorbing inner liners that are engineered to protect the batteries and ensure they remain securely attached to the saw. The dual-port charger allows both batteries to charge simultaneously and to reach a full charge in just 45 minutes. The charger also features a charge level indicator. This blower is only compatible with Makita chargers and 18V LXT lithium-ion batteries with Star Protection. It's designed for use with other tools in Makita's 18V product line (sold separately) for optimum jobsite convenience!
