We use this Maggio Ricotta cheese in our lazagna and it is so good. So cheesy and flavorful. Its nice and creamy as well. And the price is great! When we went in store looking for Ricotta the prices were ridiculous for a small container so im so glad i found it here at a resonable price for what was needed!
We use this for Italian dishes, but mainly for pesto pizza. To give the pesto body and add a cheese component to our homemade pizzas, we make the pesto and then fold in Maggio ricotta. We prep our homemade dough on the pizza sheet, then spread the ricotta-pesto mixture all over it, then add toppings, mainly tomato slices and onions. Keep it simple and the tastes will amaze you. I got the recipe from my aunt who grew up cooking and serving in her parents' Italian restaurant in NYC. Maggio is a very good standard staple brand for consistent flavor and good texture. It works extremely well in all our dinners and baking projects.
