Lavex Zap N Trap Black Wall Sconce Insect Light Trap with 1 Glue Board and 900 sq. ft. Coverage - 120V, 18W

bought 2 of these for a 900 s ft ice cream store. They have worked perfectly for flying insects including Bees. I read a review that someone expected these to help reduce fruit flies. Being a former bar owner, these are absolutely not intended for that.

I bought 2 these 6 weeks ago. We are having a minor fruit fly problem. We do all the necessary steps to minimize the pesky flies. We keep food properly stored, keep every square inch of the restaurant super clean and sanitary, and we treat our drains. After using the Zap n Trap (by the way it doesn't zap) for 5 weeks it trapped about 10 flies and 5 fruit flies. Totally disappointed. It didn't help much. I even moved its location 2 times. So I contacted customer service about returning the items and when I received a reply all I was given was a lengthy email about how to prevent and manage fruit fly problems. The email didn't even mention a possible return. I spend thousands of dollars each year at this online store and this may be my last purchase. Do not buy this product.

Love these! Super easy to install, come with one glue board included. Great price and start working almost immediately! We have them back in the kitchen and lobby and have barely noticed any insects since they have been installed. Would def recommend!!!

After using the Insect Trap for a couple of weeks, I can definitely say that there has been an slight improvement on the fly "issue" in our restaurant. However I would not use this unit as the only solution. We need to spray and use fly bait as well

The magnetic latches use soft plastic casings as 'hardware'. It broke the first year, so I've rigged up a dumb workaround. Cost cutting to the point of obsolescence. It traps flies when you can close it though.

Absolute junk! Installed 2 of these in my shop. After the first night with no other lights on, zero flies were caught. None. I had to swat them the old-fashioned way. The glue boards are not sticky AT ALL. No way these things will work....total junk, save your money!

This works well or at least it did until I had to order a new bulb and glue trap. Finding the right items is too difficult and I am pretty savvy. I’m a busy business owner and if it is this difficult to find the right replacement parts and I have to order another light. I will go with another company that makes it easy to order replacement parts.

I bought several of these and they are working quite well. Clean and easy to replace boards. Very unobstrusive and no one knows their real use except employees. They look like regular lights.

The 1st one of these came non functional. Webstaurant sent out a replacement and it's been getting rid of the flies and mosquitoes ever since.

This insect trap with light and glue trap help us to mantain control of the fruit flies of the season, Looks good once installed and does not emit annoying sounds

We bought this after vending at a fair with animals Started to get flies i ordered and it came fast so was ablento use at end of fair. Worked great over night . Not so much during day

This little bug trap is GREAT! Catches a lot of these little pesky flying insects around where we are. The bulb also lasts forever! Havnt changed it yet in close to a year and it is on 24/7. Will buy another one soon for the next season.

We got this to use in our front lobby. I like the overall sleek and decorative look of this unit. It has caught quite a few of the smaller bugs which is important too, but the flies not so much yet.

Seems to work but not great. Still have flies around in the morning, so I guess it won't work unless they are too close to the device. But its better than nothing

This product was very easy to install. Simply hang on wall, install bulb, remove protective film from glue pad, then plug up and your in business.

These Zap n Traps are great! We are out in the middle of a wetlands preserve, and as you can imagine bugs are always a problem. Being that these are gluetraps, they are safe for use in our food prep areas... Low wattage only 13w each means no huge power bills!

We use this on our screen porch. This was the best money we had spent since enclosing the outside area. Easy to hang, and the amount of flying insects went to almost none. We can now enjoy our time on our new porch. We are purchasing a larger on for the outside cooking area. The price is great also. Debra Johnson Liberty, S.C.

Zap and Trap is a great product. It's on the wall of our Yogurt store and customer don't even know what it is.. It's a great product

We have only had this Zap N Trap up for a about a day and it has already proven to me how well it works. I'm glad I ordered extra fly boards..This product is easy to install and the price is unbeatable for how well it works. If you have fly problems, I suggest you look into purchasing this trap.

The Zap N Trap we tried in the back with the door open to get some fresh air and try to avoid getting mosquitoes and bugs in it at the same time. It didn't seem to do anything though the blue glow was bright and it went on right away. We checked two nights later after using it for several hours and there were a couple little green bugs and flies trapped but not mosquitoes. It would work well for flies but not so effective on mosquitoes like we had hoped

Good bug light for the price. Has done well to trap the flies we were getting as summer came on. Can with broken light that Webstaraunt replaced quickly.

Way less expensive than some other options, the sheets are effective and it does the job for our kitchen no problem. Large kitchens should have one at opposite sides of the kitchen to be really effective

i bought this a while back. It doesn't work because it burns out light bulbs very quickly. Its not very efficient when it did have a working light bulb anyway. Trapped maybe 10 flies. it looks nice though, but eventually i just got rid of it.

We started having issues with gnats in our store and didn't know where they were coming from. We put the trap up on the wall in order to help with the infestation, and it did a great job catching them while we determined the problem. Now we keep it up for all the other pests that like to fly around. I like the purchase and would make it again. A definite keeper.

So far so good, I have caught anything yet but I haven't had any flies around either so it's a win win. Not too bad looking and provides some extra light.

Actually doesn't look half bad on the wall. I was a little worried that it would look really tacky, but it surprised me. I wish there was a way to hide the cord behind the sconce.

Really great light! Looks great and it does add a little bit of elegance to the room. The glue boards don't really last that long but that just may be that I live in an area full of flying creatures.
