This specialized emergency light is ready for use in your business's hallways, entrances, and other locations, plus it comes with a battery backup so that even if the power goes out your hallways and emergency exits will still be well lit.

The housing is made of injection molded, engineering grade, 5VA flame-retardant, high impact thermoplastic so you do not have to worry about failure under extreme conditions. This unit features two adjustable 6V, 7.0W, round halogen MR-16 lamp heads to direct light where you need it using metallized reflectors and glass lens.

To make sure that the light keeps working even when the power is out, this unit comes with a 6V, long-life, maintenance-free, rechargeable sealed lead acid battery. There is an internal switch that automatically connects the internal battery to the lights for a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency illumination during a power outage. An automatic low voltage disconnect protects the battery during use.

Once the battery is discharged the solid state charger initiates charging to ensure that the battery is recharged and ready to use again in 24 hours. The charge rate / power on LED indicator light and the push to test switch ensure that this emergency light meets mandatory code compliance testing requirements. There is a universal knockout pattern on the back plate for wall mounting that snaps into place making internal electrical connections, and a knockout for conduit applications. This dual voltage unit requires a 120/277V electrical connection for operation and is UL listed for damp locations (68 degrees Farenheit to 104 degrees Farenheit).
