Be prepared with this CLS 02-EREC-LED-WH white remote capable, dual head, recessed LED emergency light with a battery backup. With this emergency light, you can rest assured that your business is prepared. This emergency light comes with a battery backup so that even if the power goes out your hallways and emergency exits will still be well lit. Plus, this emergency light is designed for recessed installation which saves space in small hallways and also provides a sleek, professional appearance.

The housing is made with a durable 20 gauge steel trim plate so you do not have to worry about failure under extreme conditions. This front plate secures firmly to the housing with spring clips. This unit is made for recessed mounting so it comes equipped with bar hangers. It is designed to be mounted in drywall or drop ceilings.

This unit features two adjustable 6V, 1W glare free lamp heads to direct light where you need it. It uses chrome-plated metal reflectors and plastic lenses for optimal light distribution. Since this unit is remote capable, it can also power additional lamp heads that are 6V. In total, this unit has a remote capacity of 10W.

To make sure that the light keeps working even when the power is out, this unit comes with a 6V long-life, maintenance-free, rechargeable, sealed lead acid battery. There is an internal switch that automatically connects the internal battery to the lights for a minimum of 90 minutes of emergency illumination during a power outage. A low voltage disconnect prevents a deep discharge of the battery to protect the battery's life. Once the battery is discharged the fully-automatic, two-rate, solid state charger initiates charging to ensure that the battery is recharged within 24 hours. The charge rate / power on LED indicator light and the push to test switch ensure that this emergency light meets mandatory code compliance testing requirements.

This unit requires a 120/277V electrical connection for operation and is rated for use in dry locations at 77 degrees Fahrenheit.
