Customer questions about this product
- What are the differences between commercial and residential KitchenAid mixers?
- Compared to residential KitchenAid mixers, commercial KitchenAid units are more powerful, incorporate durable components, offer extra safety features, and have an extended warranty. Commercial mixers also come with an 8 qt. stackable stainless steel bowl rather than a 6 qt. bowl, allowing you to mix larger batches of ingredients. While residential mixers include cast aluminum accessories that must be hand washed, commercial mixers come with heavy-duty stainless steel accessories that are dishwasher safe for fast cleanup. KitchenAid commercial mixers are NSF Listed and include a 73 1/2” orange commercial-grade cord to ensure superior safety and sanitation. Working with a residential mixer in a commercial kitchen will void the warranty on your unit and may result in health inspector violations.

People Talk About:great mixer kitchen batches love small aids mixers smaller around
Love my kitchenaid mixer! It is just amazing! I love the color! I use it almost every other day! Easy clean up. I would totally recommend this!
I have had several kitchen aids in different sizes. The artisan is a great tool for the home kitchen and commercial settings. I use the 5 quart for smaller batch recipes. Kitchen Aid mixers are solid!
This is a great mixer! I love using it for my sugar cookies around Christmas time. It works great and fits a lot of dough.
I really enjoy using this mixer for small batches of recipes. When you make any type of dough, when the volume increase, it tends to climb up the spinning part that the paddle attaches to so be careful of that.
I've used this mixer in a commercial kitchen to make small batches of sugar cookies with great success. It's a little harder to work around since it's so compact, but it is possible.
This is an okay mixer. It works really well it's just harder to use since it is so small. It would be great for an at home chef or baker though.
