This salad dryer's easy-load polyethylene spin basket gently spins water off of just-washed lettuce for crisp, fresh results every time. Water then drains through the PVC extension tube directly into a floor drain or container up to 9" high, leaving you with dry lettuce. Bought this to spin dry lettuce at our farm and was severely disappointed. We literally have old washing machines with food grade barrels in them that spin faster and dry lettuce better.
