Finally hired an electrician to install a weatherproof outdoor GFC outlet in my covered patio - plugged this in and it worked for 2 days. Turned it on tonight and the fuse blew. Still get's power but the tube is blown. It's past its 1 month warranty - and is a HUGE waste of money. Heater plus electrician = poor depressed me... DO NOT BUY!

Bought 10 of these and not even 2 months later the fuse box(I'm guessing that's what it is) in 4 of them have burned out. Unfortunately they're only covered for a month. Will not purchase again, expected longer life than that out of them.

Makes nice heat, The printed circuit board did burn up on 1 of 2 of them after 1 1/2 years. This was used in a covered porch in a residential application. But for the price they are disposable.

It's got cold enough here in California that I've started using these but after using a second time one of the tubes stopped working and then after the third use the second tube stopped as well. The remote is detected as I see the status light toggle, Similar to the other reviewer - these don't last. Very disappointed - cost me $50 per use!

Unbelievably effective! Incredible value. I can’t speak to the long term functionality but the heat out of these is INSTANT! I can’t believe how inexpensive they are. The remote is a little tricky with multiple units but I can’t complain, it works. Best value I’ve seen in a heater.
