Are other racks interchangeable with those that come in a standard Flav-R-Savor FSDT-1 display cabinet?
Yes, there are complementary racks available. You can find these in the “Works With” section of this page, or by searching in the search box.
How is an FSDT different from an FDW?
FSDT units are larger and taller and are made with aluminum extrusions. These units also boast side fluorescent lighting for greater visibility.
FDW units, in contrast, are smaller in size and are made with stainless steel. To promote easy visibility, they feature recessed incandescent lighting on the ceiling.
What should I do if I can't use distilled water?
If you don't use distilled water, make sure to use white vinegar or another de-liming agent in the water tank to remove scale build-up. Do this as often as needed.

Not impressed. Unit arrived and did not work day one. Unit kept trip numerous GFCI's. Hatco was quick to blame webstaurant for storing the unit for a length period. Said it was moisture build up. It was not the issue. They kept blaming my GFCI's. It was not the issue. Eventually got a service agent. Still not working. Short blamed on ballast for lights. Replaced still not working. Hatco says every unit is tested, obviously their are GFCI they test on do not work. Currently, unit will work if I switch on after removing lights, then once working, reinsert the lights. Not impressed with Hatco and service. This unit cost 5 times my old Avantco (that i have abused and is still working after 4 years). STRONG DO NOT RECOMMEND HATCO.

I am ordering our second one now. This has been a great replacement for some very old warmers that we have been using in our Deli for year. These are more spacious than our previous ones with better controls. The first one arrived in perfect condition. My Deli manager could not be more happy with our first one and is looking forward to replacing our second one now with the one that is on the way!
