Customer questions about this product

There are 16 cups in a gallon. Why do coffee urns with similar gallon capacities have different cup amounts listed?
Coffee urn manufacturers use different size cups to state the output of their urns, commonly 3.5 oz., 5 oz., or 8 oz. To figure out how many cups you’ll get using your existing dinnerware, simply convert the urn’s gallons to ounces and divide by the ounce size of your coffee cups or mugs! Remember, there are 128 oz. in a gallon.
When I add coffee to my urn's brew basket, some of the grounds fall through the basket and end up settling on the bottom of the urn. How do I prevent this?
Wetting your brew basket before placing coffee grounds into it will cause the first grounds that touch it to expand. Because they expand, they stop up the brew basket and prevent the grounds from falling through the basket and into the water.

Beach Hamilton nozzle buy piece send started tank Webstaurant customers

Bought this urn in 2014 and was so excited with the quality. Had to replace the actual push nozzle (behind the dispensing bar) on the tank after it broke. Then the conducting pins on the tank and base went bad (would not brew) and had to send the whole unit back for repair, at my expense for shipping. Hamilton Beach kept it for 3 weeks. Finally I called, they said they could not repair and would send a new one (another week). 4 months later had to replace the nozzle again-I ordered an extra this time. Put the new nozzle on and now the conducting pins seem to not be working again. This BrewStation looks great and is heavy duty, but I am not even going to return it-it is too expensive. HB customer service was very difficult to work with! Do not buy!

What a piece of junk. It started leaking after about 10 months of use, so we shipped it back at a high cost because it is huge. Then it started leaking again. They sent us a new part that worked for a day then it started leaking. The new piece of junk is still under warranty so I am shipping it back and they will send us a new one. It's a matter of principle because we really don't want another one. When that one goes, we will never buy Hamilton Beach again. Pure junk. Wish I could give it zero stars. DO NOT BUY!

This coffee urn is a piece of crap. We bought it in November and the nozzle went bad in February. It took more than a month to get a simple nozzle replacement to us. When we finally received it and installed it it went bad in less than one week. At that point I wanted to take the unit into the middle of the street and crush it with the sludge hammer !! But webstaurant did give us a full refund. I probably talked to them 10+ times to get this settled because Hamilton Beach kept dropping the ball , but they (webstaurant) did keep their word and refunded my money after the 2nd nozzle went bad. I would use Webstaurant again to buy products but I will never again buy a Hamilton Beach product. If you ever have problems with HB my advice to you is take a deep breath and keep on it ! If you still have a working warrantee Hamilton Beach eventually has to do right by you !! Good Luck.

This Hamilton Beach brew station is better than we could've even expected. It will be perfect for our restaurant. It is very well-made and crafted. It looks beautiful and customers will love it.

This is money well spent! This product is very, very sturdy. The removable tank makes it easier and safer to fill and clean--the electrical housing stays on the counter! We also like the built-in drip tray and decaf indicator.
