Bought this almost exactly one year ago. Love it overall and prefer it over the Waring version which we've used for years. Love the lower profile of this one (shorter employees don't have to stand on a stool) but some downsides are that the clamps on the sides wear down which we had to send back to the manuf for warranty to fix. it happened again but we solved that with simple clamps. It only lasted a year though before the motor starting wearing out and needing replacement. We do use it fairly heavily, blending for probably an average of 2 hours every day. But still...wish they lasted longer.

What is the proper technique for cleaning my blender jar?
Due to the metal construction of their drive components, blender jars are a hand wash only item. They should not be run through a dishwasher, and care should be taken to avoid directly spraying the bottom of the container with a high pressure pre-rinse faucet. For best results, clean the bottom of the jar with a washcloth and a mild detergent or sanitizer when needed.
