In general, melamine is not microwave or oven safe. You can use a commercial dishwasher to clean your melamine items; however, top-rack only is recommended for residential dishwashing units. Avoid cutting directly on your melamine products with a serrated knife to prevent nicks and scratches. For additional guidelines, please refer to the Care and Use sheet included on this page.

    I just fell in love with the look of these bowls and had to have them for the shops. The only reason I don't give them 5 stars is that they're melamine, which means they don't do well in microwaves and low volume cafes really require products that hold up to microwaving. Saves quite a bit on dishes.
