Galaxy 177PIMBL9STK 9" Light-Duty Immersion Blender Shaft

I purchased this and other tools for my business.. I love how well Galaxy IMBL9STK 7" Light-Duty Immersion Blender blends my product..Blender is a little heavy, but I still like it; it really helps me emulsify my product, creating a smooth final product...I'm looking to purchase another one.

BEWARE! I used this product for approxamitely 6 months. About 4 months in the blade stopped spinning so I purchased a replacement arm from webstaurant. 2 months into using the replacement arm we discovered one day that the blade and connecting parts were missing. The blade, the gasket, 2 other metal pieces and the small screw all separated from the arm while in use and got dispersed into a pot of beans, making them impossible to find. This lack of sturdiness is a severe issue that could easily have caused physical harm to our customers. Would never purchase again. The money savings of this budget item is not worth the risk of seriously injuring someone. If you buy this unit be sure that you and your cooks check the blade after every single use, or else you may serve someone small pieces of metal (or a blade!) hidden in their food.

It works great but accumulates filth inside and does not allow opening for easy cleaning. We are no longer able to use it at the restaurant because it has accumulated food on the inside.
