Galaxy GICP18 Countertop Induction Range / Cooker - 120V, 1800W

This induction range appears well built for the money. The aesthetics are good, the front panel is simple and the buttons and knobs respond well.

I love to cook Asian fusion, and Wok cooking is just part of the flavor. It's hard to heat a Wok properly with an electric range, let alone a round bottom Wok. I got turned on to induction cook tops from a youtube video and started digging through the interwebs when i landed on this beauty! My 14" carbon steel Wok sits nicely in the base and the heat is almost instant. I'm really impressed with the amount of heat provided by something that plugs into a standard 110v outlet. The controls are intuitive, and I love the stainless steel construction. As for the internal components, we will see how it fairs over time, but this is a winner so far in my book for Wok Cooking. Far better than any other brand of induction cooker for round bottom Woks!

These get hot! they have a nice feature where they turn off if the pan is lifted off its surface. Ordered 4, one arrived a dud and wouldn't turn on but Webstaurant replaced immediately.

Heat up pretty quick. Definitely recommend.

I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. This is a great piece if equipment for the price. I use it daily for my making my sauces and cheese grits. Small footprint and with the right pan it can work miracles!!

First shorted out in the first year. Second cracked but only because we dropped something on it. We got a third one and is going strong. Great value.

This is perfect for my RV. I also got one for the house. It is so easy to use and works so well I wish my stove had an induction top. You will never regret this purchase.

Leight weight but a work horse. The built in fan helps cool down quickly. This burner allows you to cook at precise temperatures and work well in a small kitchen.

I bought 4 of these Galaxy Counter top Induction Burners. Over all, I am very impressed with the quality - especially for the price! I had been trying to purchase another brand but could never seem to get them bought when they were in stock. I am extremely pleased with this brand and model. So far - they cook great. Be aware of pan sizes as you go to purchase.

This product is wonderful for making distilled water! I've tried dozens of portable burners, and this one produces the most distilled water. I have found that at 420 degrees Fahrenheit, it produces the most distilled water. It is sturdy and holds plenty of weight. And, the best part is ........ the fair price!

Shipping was super fast, and I absolutely love this cooktop! It heats up quickly making stir-frying a breeze. The controls are easy to operate, even for beginners. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a high-quality induction wok!

It was a great purchase. Cooking on it is easy and fun.

The induction burner works well however there is, what I would call, a design flaw. There is a plastic ridge directly in front on the glass top induction burner. If you move your pan a little towards the front you melt the plastic ridge. I use these burners in a culinary arts classroom and out of 10 burners 4 already have melted plastic ridges.

If I could give this more than 5 stars, Id give it 100 stars. I have used induction before but this one is exceptional. It is amazing and for the price, everyone should have one of these.

Great extra burner for smaller projects and test batches. Worth every penny - great value.
