As you can see from everyones remarks... these domes dont say shut on their containers. We have had the same issue. Found they actually stay fit a little better if you use the base from the "low dome cake display".

These cake savers are AWFUL!!! As a small business, I thought it was a great buy but they are junk! The lids don’t stay on, they pop off, how embarrassing selling a cake and having to explain to a customer about the lid not staying on! DO NOT BUY THESE!!
Worst purchase I have ever made. Just started a small bakery. When I purchased these I thought I was getting a great deal, but these containers are garbage. The dome lid will not stay snapped in place. What an embarrassment when a new customer drops their cake because of this garbage. This should be pulled from inventory!
Absolute GARBAGE !!!!!! DO NOT waste your money on this product. Lids will not stay in place. Should be pulled from inventory and destroyed. TERRIBLE.
Please do not waste your hard earned dollars on this product!!! Top WILL NOT STAY IN PLACE!! Comes off at the slightest movement. I am very disappointed and now am out some serious cash because I was completely out and had to use a few from the shipment to get my orders out. They are useless!!!!
This is the worst dome container ever! please don't waste your money and time. keep away from this brand. the bottom part is so easy to break and the cake board keep sliding on the bottom.
These are the worst cake domes I have ever purchased!!! I will never buy them again! The lid does not stay on at all. There is nothing worse than trying to give your customer their cake and the lid doesn't stay on. It's just embarrassing!!
DO NOT....I REPEAT....DO NOT BUT THESE CONTAINERS! This is the worst product I have ever bought from this company. The containers we usually use at my bakery were out of stock so I took a chance on these because it was so close to Christmas which is our busiest time of year. The container will stay fastened all of about two seconds. As soon as you pick it up from the table, the lid pops right off. I had to wrap the outside of each cake with plastic film to hold the container lids in place. Wasted a lot of precious time at such a busy time of year.
DO NOT BUY. The top will not stay fastened. Purchased these for my Thanksgiving orders and they don’t work. It is entirely too late to get additional containers. So sad. So disappointing for me and my clients.
The absolute WORST cake dome containers you could ever purchase. DO NOT BUY!!! These containers made me look like a fool in front of multiple customers, popping off when I handed them their cake... SO EMBARASSING!
The worst cake containers I have ever purchased. They are flimsy, difficult to close and as soon as I get it closed to move it...it pops open again. I have 40 cakes for a resturant for a Thanksgiving promotion they are doing. Not sure what I am going to do....too late to return these for a refund. I have shopped this site for years....I am pretty annoyed right now.
worst cake containers ever they don't stay clamped at the bottom the top lids are so thin they bend in your hand and you can't stack a cake on top of each other for display won't ever buy again
