Follett Corporation C1414W Details

Produce high-quality ice with this Follett Horizon Elite ice machine! This high-performance ice machine reliably produces up to 1,274 lb. of chewblet ice per day. This slow-melting, compressed nugget ice allows for more efficient dispensing compared to traditional cubes, and it is great for use in beverages, ice packs, and food displays. It also absorbs more of the beverage it is cooling, providing you with more flavorful ice to chew. This unit is attractive and durable, and it offers quiet production without noisy harvest cycles. Its intuitive, easy-to-read LED display shows the operating status and diagnostics.

This self-contained ice machine operates using R-290 refrigerant. Its scale inhibiting design reduces maintenance by regularly quarantining and expelling scale-producing dissolved solids, dramatically reducing buildup. This design both increases the time between descaling and prevents you from needing expensive scale treatments. This unit produces ice with less than 15% TDS of the incoming water, and it saves 35% of water as opposed to comparable ice machines. It meets USPHS principles for marine / shipboard use.

This ice machine works with Open Kitchen for real-time remote monitoring and diagnostics. Its semi-automatic cleaning and sanitizing system ensures you are providing sanitary ice. Its key components are coated in Agion silver-based antimicrobial protection, while its floatless, sealed design helps prevent the formation of biofilms. Thanks to its built-in RIDE technology, it can be paired with an optional tube kit (sold separately) to automatically transport ice up to 75' away. This model requires a 208-230V electrical connection for operation.

Frequently Asked Questions From Customers

How can I figure out the total daily water consumption of my water cooled ice maker?
In order to figure out the total daily water consumption you must take into consideration both condenser cooling water as well as potable ice making water. The equation is as follows:

(Potable Water + Condensor Water) x (lb. of ice per day / 100)

Example: (12 gal + 124 gal) x (400 lb / 100) = 544 gallons per 24 hours
