Make brewing beer easier with Five Star Chemicals 26-SPM-FS035 Super Moss brewery adjunct coagulant 3.5 lb. Used to reduce chill haze, this negatively-charged coagulant attracts the positively-charged haze-forming proteins in the brew kettle and primary fermenter before settling the proteins out. This red seaweed based coagulant is made with Kapa and Lambda carrageenan.

This product is designed to mix quickly in cold water. This allows you to add the product directly to the bowl without creating fish eyes of undissolved carageenan. This coagulant will help to ensure consistent, great-tasting beer.

Use at a rate of 1 oz. in 10 BBLS. You may use less, but do not use more. Place in a covered jar half filled with cold water. Close the jar and shake vigorously for at least 30 seconds. Let it sit for 10 minutes, as moss should swell. Apply to last 15 minutes of the boil and whirlpool as necessary.
