People Talk About:dough mixer speed doughs capacity bolts faster buy love mixing
3 out of 3 found this review helpfulI have had this mixer for about four months. I use it twice a week in my small micro bakery. I would venture to guess the stated capacity could be significantly exceeded with high hydration doughs. I find it to be a reliable workhorse. It has its limitations -- just one speed, stated capacity is low, and it is a pain to clean, particularly if the dough is still somewhat wet in the machine and you need to be thorough, as when removing the last remaining caraway seeds or something like that. However, it shows zero signs of struggle when mixing at capacity and the difference between using this and hand mixing, which I was doing, is huge. For the price, this seems to me to be a terrific value.
We love it!!! It’s strand we make a lot of pizza and sourdough in it. It’s saves us a lot of time. I’m sooo happy I got this, a used Hobart was 1500 this was a little more just for bread and doughs it’s great
We love this mixer. It handles 90 ball batches of our pizza dough efficiently and consistently. The reasonable price makes it affordable to have a back up mixer in case of an issue with the primary. We plan on purchasing a second once we move into our own commissary kitchen. The unit is currently mounted on our mobile food trailer. The two mounts for the shipping bolts made it easy to securely bolt the mixer to the floor.
I purchase it to prepare my panzerotti. It was the cheapest option online and offline, so I decided to buy it. The dough mixer is beautiful, well done, and works well. Nothing fancy. It has only one speed, which I tough it was fine for my dough type (one speed I know is slow, two speed is faster), but this speed is too fast to prepare my panzerotti, and the dough turns out very stressed out. So I will buy a dimmer to fix this problem.
