These wooden knives seem very durable even though they are disposable. They look very authentic and will go great with our rustic wedding theme. Also, I was worried they would not be able to cut, but the serration on the edge looks like it can cut up food pretty well.

Love these knives! I originally bought them for a baby shower (these are a favorite of the rustic-inspired Pinterest crowd) and have since purchased more to have on hand every day in my house for our occasional paper plate dinners. They are really lightweight, which is probably the only con- that they at first don’t feel like they will be substantial. But these are really sturdy and will most definitely cut through your food! You can definitely eat with these and not worry about breaking or splinters. I’ve never noticed a bad taste with them. This is probably the best price i’ve seen for this product. Other brands in smaller packs in party or specialty stores will likely be identical products.

I purchased these knives along with the matching forks and palm leaf plates for a small, at home wedding. I am always looking for eco-friendly options, and these certainly fit the bill. The knives are attractive, but a little small in my opinion. It was not a problem, but it is certainly something to consider if that is important to you. I’ve included a picture comparing one to a “normal” knife so buyers can get a better feel for the size. But despite the size, I think these are a good, unique alternative to plastic knives.

The serration on this knife is a nice feature but it would work better if the width were narrowed near the cutting surface. This is a relatively sturdy knife for disposables.

Purchased these for personal use because I use the spoons at our business. I am glad to have an option other than plasticware as a disposable when entertaining in a casual setting.

Knife works great, used it for cutting up some chicken and it works very well with no splinters. I will be purchasing this item again.

If I am using disposable cutlery I prefer wood over plastic because it looks a little nicer. Cutting utility is probably comparable to a plastic knife, it won't work for everything but it will work for most things.

Paired this with the Eco-gecko wooden fork for an event. These utensils are a little on the small side, but not too small. Quite sturdy. The teeth on these are not very sharp. Probably comparable in sharpness to plastic ones. But that also means they are safe for kids. We used them for some tender meats (mole chicken and stewed pork) and they worked well. Overall I recommend them and would buy them again. I'm glad there's an attractive compostable option!

I got these knives for a dinner although they would only be needed for fruit. They worked okay not as sharp as plastic but that was expected.
