We are in a state with a Brown Bag law that just requires us to send the open bottle of wine home in a bag that is closed with the ability to tell if it was opened. That means we can slide the bottle into a paper bag and staple it closed with the receipt attached by the staple. It actually took me quite awhile to find wine bags that were tall enough to do this. These bags are sturdy, cheap, and much taller than a bottle of wine. No problem to fold over the top and staple it.
