These containers work great for pastas and hot food. They dont melt or warp when place steaming hot sauces in them. The lid seals tight too so that if it gets splashed around it doesnt spill out the side.

These Solo are great containers, they are so much better then the Choice 51 oz they recommend, the octagon shape and heavier plastic are much stronger than the square Choice 51 oz, our dishes are heavy and we can'r afford to skimp, we go through about 4000 a month, the only thing i's recommend the 51 oz square for is salads.
