Do not buy. This is not a good concept. Just a small amount of wind or breeze is enough to cause the strips to spread open and allow flying insects in. Including when the strips are overlapped. I covered a 38" opening with 48" of strips.

This product is supposed to cover a 36” x 84” door opening. That is supposed to be the right size for our back door in our kitchen, which is also 36x84. The problem we ran into and that you will likely run into if you are buying it based on the product description is that you’ll end up with a lot of little openings around the sides, which allows insects to still come in. Unfortunately for us, we can’t get the next size up in width (48”) because we don’t have enough horizontal space to mount this product. Furthermore, the panels come folded so they don’t stay straight, again causing a bunch of little gaps to remain open and therefore insects can still come in! You will likely be extremely disappointed if you have a similar situation to us. Was a waste of money, we can’t use it.

These curtains do not work as advertised or keep the bugs out. They flap in the wind with the slightest breeze which leaves the doors wide open as if they weren't there at all. The bottom of the curtains are only "weighted" because they're made out a slightly heavier material (thin plastic) than the mesh. There are not actual weights at the bottom of these curtains and the curtains don't stay in place. Do not buy these curtains.

Why I will give two stars that is because I bought the curtain as long as there is a small wind, it will let it fly up, so simply can not block the mosquito

Saved me my kitchen is very hot. Easy install. I leave the door open without any problems. Also the bottom being plastic materiel. Also helps with handtrucks never have a problem with it get stuck or anything
This is extremely useful when keeping the outside door open. it allows airflow but also prevents insects from entering that area. This is very useful in the hotter months. The bottom of the strips have a PVC protected area for opening with a shoe.
