Curtron 120-PESTPROSERIES 300 Details

Safely keep your kitchen and dining room clean and sanitary with this Curtron Pest-Pro BL300 high intensity flying insect control UV light. This wall light attracts pesky flying insects with a high intensity 80W UV light and traps them on safe, disposable insect glue trap boards, eliminating the zapping sound and smell of traditional bug zappers. The UV bulb contains a chemical coating that maximizes the amount of UV light it transmits. To maintain the bulb's coating and the trap's optimum effectiveness, replace bulbs every 9-12 months, ideally at the beginning of Spring. The glue boards are easily replaceable to maintain the effectiveness of your wall light, and the 1-year limited manufacturer's warranty makes it a responsible choice for your establishment. Glue boards should be replaced every 30 days.

It comes in a white powder-coated finish, allowing it to blend in with your restaurant kitchen or dining room where it should be mounted between 3 and 6 feet above the floor for optimum effectiveness. For best results, do not place the zapper in an area with bright lighting, as other light sources will draw the bugs' attention. In public areas, placing the lights just above eye level will ensure that customers do not see dead insects stuck to the glue board. This light is effective for controlling flying insects over an area of 1800 square feet. It requires a 120V electrical connection.

Customer questions about this product

Is this bug zapper / light trap a good fit for the space I have?

Most bug zappers and light traps list a coverage area in square footage, which can serve as a good guideline, but it’s also important to think about placement. The best way to maximize the effectiveness of your unit is to set the trap strategically in a highly visible location so that the light can be seen from multiple angles.

This did not work for us at all. We had better luck with the cheap fly strips that look horrible when hung from the ceiling. We have started hanging fly bags on the dumpster in an effort to cut them off at the source.
