Curtron 120-PESTPROSERIES 100-GOLD Details

Safely keep your kitchen and dining room clean and sanitary with this Curtron Pest-Pro BL100CGOLD flying insect control high intensity UV light wall sconce. This wall light attracts pesky flying insects with a high intensity 15W UV light and traps them in safe, disposable glue boards, eliminating the zapping sound and smell of traditional bug zappers. The UV bulb contains a chemical coating that maximizes the amount of UV light it transmits. To maintain the bulb's coating and the trap's optimum effectiveness, replace bulbs every 9-12 months, ideally at the beginning of Spring. The insect glue trap boards are easily replaceable to maintain the effectiveness of your wall light, and the 5-year limited warranty on parts makes it a responsible choice for your establishment. Glue boards should be replaced every 30 days.

It comes in a gold finish, allowing it to blend in with your restaurant kitchen or dining room, where it should be mounted between 5 and 6 feet above the floor for optimum effectiveness. For best results, do not place the zapper in an area with bright lighting, as other light sources will draw the bugs' attention. In public areas, placing the lights just above eye level will ensure that customers do not see dead insects stuck to the glue board. This light is effective for controlling flying insects over an area of 900 square feet, or 25 lineal feet. It requires a 120V electrical connection.

Customer questions about this product

Is this bug zapper / light trap a good fit for the space I have?

Most bug zappers and light traps list a coverage area in square footage, which can serve as a good guideline, but it’s also important to think about placement. The best way to maximize the effectiveness of your unit is to set the trap strategically in a highly visible location so that the light can be seen from multiple angles.

This trap is a basic run-of-the-mill trap, so it seems. I saw flies go to it, walk on the sticky sheet, and fly away. It helps to catch the slacker flies though, because i do see it collect.
