Well made and constructed, we use it all the time in the kitchen. The old one is over 3 years old and still works the same. I recommend it for its durability.

Safely keep your kitchen and dining room clean and sanitary with this Curtron Pest-Pro BL100C high intensity UV flying insect light trap with 10 glue boards. This wall light attracts pesky flying insects with a high intensity 15W UV light and traps them on safe, disposable glue boards, eliminating the zapping sound and smell of traditional bug zappers. The UV bulb contains a chemical coating that maximizes the amount of UV light it transmits. To maintain the bulb's coating and the trap's optimum effectiveness, replace bulbs every 9-12 months, ideally at the beginning of Spring. The insect glue trap boards are easily replaceable to maintain the effectiveness of your wall light, and makes it a responsible choice for your establishment. Glue boards should be replaced every 30 days.
It comes in a white finish allowing it to blend in with your restaurant kitchen or dining room where it should be mounted between 5 and 6 feet above the floor for optimum effectiveness. For best results, do not place the zapper in an area with bright lighting, as other light sources will draw the bugs' attention. In public areas, placing the lights just above eye level will ensure that customers do not see dead insects stuck to the glue board. This light is effective for controlling flying insects over an area of 900 square feet, or 25 lineal feet, and comes with 10 replacement glue boards. It requires a 120V electrical connection.

I have purchased twice. To be candid, works great until it quits working. The first time of course I thought was possibly a burnt out bulb, so I replaced the bulb. That however was not the issue, and so I purchased a second unit. I have once again ordered new bulbs, in hopes that this time it is just the bulb. Mine have lasted a couple years (I think ... I lose track of time). I do have it mounted in a location that does not receive any accidental bumping, so perhaps mine have lasted longer than some. Like I mentioned initially, they work GREAT when they work. They just need to be a little better quality perhaps, so that they last longer.

I have purchased 3 of these units, they all died out and stopped working quickly. The first one they sent a new ballast and it worked only for a short time. Webstaurant customer service was great and sent out a whole unit for replacement, but that too stopped working. Curtron customer service is non existent. I recommend purchasing the Zap n Trap, they are the same design, same boards and bulbs, but last forever.

All of these are no good. The bulbs burn out fast, and the light itself is temperamental. I bought two, and need to switch to a different type of light now because these won't continue to work reliably. Total waste of $$

Purchased 4. The product worked great until we replaced the bulbs. Purchased bulbs from same site and equipment hasn’t worked since. I will not purchase this product again.

We've used this insect control light / trap for months now, and it works great to keep all sorts of flying bugs away from our bar and kitchen areas.

Just hooked this up yesterday and its working great! No matter what we do, we have a small fly issue every summer. In the first day, this had caught 20 or so bugs, from full sized flies to tiny fruit flies. Very excited to see how things continue! Easy to install and looks nice too!

Very good, it is worth the investment because it helps keep flying insects on check, I have a couple at my business. The glue boards are very easy to replace and the light is very efficient.

We're a farm, so flies are here by the hundreds. I've put this up for one day, and it caught a tremendous amount. I ordered two more immediately. It's quiet, effective, and definitely the perfect solution for your fly problem.

The insect trap works great for catching regular flies, we change the glue boards once a month during the summer months, unfortunately it does not catch fruit flies.
