Although this can be used with relish, it's best for relish that's not runny/watery. Condiments/sauces that are watery or thin are not recommended for this pump. The pump, container, and lid are all constructed with polypropylene, making them durable, flexible, and odor- and stain-resistant. The 4 qt. container can hold the contents from one #10 can and handles on the container make transportation from a prep table to a walk in refrigerator or storage shelf effortless.
The convenient see-through construction makes it easy to see ingredients. Its 9" dip tube is long enough to reach to the bottom of large containers, but 4" is removable, making it a versatile tool. About 1/2" will need to be removed for the tube to properly fit the lid and container in this kit.

Attempted to use it for dispensing jam and it was a disaster. Constantly drips, sometimes sprays (?!) its contents. The pump is a nightmare to take apart and clean.
