Choice 9 3/8" x 3 3/4" Wooden Butcher Block Brush with Steel Bristles

This brush is great for getting to the very tiny bits of meat and bone that get into the end grain surface of a butcher block or table. Caution... this brush will literally eat up your block or table top if you use excessive down pressure. Firm down pressure is OK, heavy down pressure is BAD. I follow up with your straight edge scraper. Together they get your block clean with out damage to the surface. I then wash the surface with hot water and wipe dry. After I let the surface air dry for about 10 minutes, then I apply a very thin application of your mineral oil to the block or table top providing an anti-microbial barrier. Has worked without issues and I've never failed an inspection for a dirty block or table top.

Not sure what this is. I thought it was a stiff wood brush that would clean and smooth my wood boards. it has metal spikes, not bristles that would gouge into the boards.

This is surprisingly big and heavy! It works good, not great. You really have to use some strength to clean the butcher block (it may just be our situation though). Its very well built and seems to holding up just fine.

the brush is nice and desent. we use the brush to wash out our butcher bench table. it work out pretty well. my chef strongly recommend this brush for cleaning up.

This is a really nice and sturdy table brush. Great for meat processing stations. You really gotta scrub the table thouroughly when youre done breaking down animals.

We have some very old butcher block counters that are stained and oily. This brush scraped the dirty top layer right off very quickly - impressing me with how swiftly we could expose the clean wood underneath. However, do not assume that you can use this device alone. It left the wood a bit rough with slight gouge marks from the bristles, making it necessary to go over it with rough sand paper afterwards.
