Ok so this slicer is nicely built HOWEVER the blades seem to be dull, I crushed a tomatoe as much as it sliced meaning my slices were no longer round as one side was flat from being pushed thru the blades.

this is a good tomato slicer for the money but the only issue we have is that we have to cut the tomatoes into a full size pan or they go all over the prep table..

When I receive this product it did not work very well the they responded so well and took care of this problem they got me a new blade right away and now the product works great.

At 1/3 the cost of the more expensive name brand, I was expecting something that worked, just not as well. I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised. There is no difference from this and much much more expensive name brand slicer. Works great. Was delivered right on time. Great money saver!!

For some reason it came with the cutting blades backwards. Manufacturer's instructions were not useful. I've been playing with it but the tomato pieces keep clogging the one side. You are limited to medium and small tomatoes. It seems like the smaller tomatoes work better. Not a bad device. It really needs to be mounted on a solid surface so when you exert pressure, it doesn't move. They do give you a bracket for that, but in the situation I was in I could not use it. I will mount it at a later date. Overall, it's a good product at a reasonable price.

We use this 3/16 tomato slicer every morning during our prep work. Makes it so easy to get our tomatoes perfect size and super fast.very easy to clean, we just put it in our sink.
It is an economical tomato slicer, lightweight and fits nicely on our smaller prep tables. I don't know how it will stand up to continual use, but it fills our need for now and it removes the work to do researching new blades for my other slicer. Now I can just replace it buying new one for a fair price.
