I purchased these scissor tongs for kitchen use! While the description does not specifically say what the composition of the metal is, it does say they are chrome plated, and from having them in hand, I would've guessed steel. It's a very hard metal, and the finish doesnt look cheap. The handle has a rubberized coating so you don't lose your grip, and I found the grip, at that, to be very comfortable. They are the right size for smaller hands, and the amount of resistance they offer is comfortable, not too stiff, but not loose either. The "business end" is curved inward so you can grasp things like corn on the cob, hotdogs, and potatoes out of the microwave or off the grill with minimal finangling, and they are further complimented with a "knurled" textured finish on the inside of the tongs to aid grasping (at the time of Read More
